NCERT starts online counselling for students

In the perspective on lockdown in the nation, NCERT has begun counselling services for school students. The counselling services will be provided free of charge.

A notification on CIET site stated, “The novel corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic is a situation that is affecting children physically as well as psychologically. The pandemic has caused strong feelings such as sadness, fear, anxiety, helplessness, uncertainty, loss of interest and hopelessness.”

CIET or Central Institute of Education Technology is a nodal organization under NCERT for advancing the utilization of broad communications innovation for extending and improving the nature of instruction at the school level.

NCERT is giving the directing to address emotional wellness worries of kids.
