The Eco-club of Little Flowers Public Senior Secondary School conducted many events to raise awareness about the environment on International Biodiversity Day.
“We must treat every bit of biodiversity as valuable while learning to harness it and comprehending what it means to mankind.”
The theme for the 2022 International Day for Biological Diversity is “Building a Shared Future for All Life.”
23rd May 2022, Delhi- On the occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity on May 22, 2022, the Little Flowers Public Senior Secondary School Eco-club organised a number of events to raise awareness about the effects of human activities on the environment. The event began with Ojaswi of class XII giving a virtual tour of Jim Corbett Wildlife Sanctuary. A panel of selected speakers, including Mudit, Protishtha, Mokshita, Vidit of class 10, and Tanya, Shreya of class 9, educated the children in classes 9 and 10.
The event came to a close with a slogan and painting competition for kids in class XII, which displayed their creativity, ingenuity, and awareness.
Mrs. Neeta Dua, Principal LFPS, and Mr. Rohit Dua, Managing Director LFGS, gave instructive speeches at the end of the event, encouraging the students to be more environmentally conscious and resourceful.
