A 5-kilometer marathon will be hosted at Ramjas International School, R.K. Puram, on July 14, 2023
New Delhi, July 13, 2023 Ramjas International School, New Delhi, is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated 5-kilometer marathon scheduled for July 14, 2023, at 6:30 a.m. The event is set to promote fitness, sportsmanship, and community engagement among the school’s students and staff.
The marathon will begin with a warm welcome from guests, parents, alumni, and students. Notable attendees include Chief Guest Mr. Siddharth Chaudhary, Guest of Honor Ms. Sunita Godara, Guest of Honor Prof. Eric, Vice Chairman Mr. Devesh Gupta, Director of Ramjas International School Ms. Rachna Pant, Principal Ms. Richa Sharma, parents, alumni, and students.
A felicitation ceremony will be held to honor the esteemed guests. Mr. Siddharth Chaudhary will be presented with a shield by Mr. Devesh Gupta, while Ms. Sunita Godara and Prof. Eric will receive their respective honors from Director Ms. Rachna Pant and Principal Ms. Richa Sharma. Additionally, Mr. Devesh Gupta will be recognized with an award by Director Ms. Rachna Pant, and Ms. Rachna Pant herself will be felicitated with a planter by Principal Ms. Richa Sharma.
The event will feature a short prayer recited by students, prepared by Harsimran. Following this, the highly anticipated RIS Anthem will be officially launched, symbolizing the unity, resilience, and commitment to excellence of Ramjas International School. Esteemed guests Mr. Siddharth Chaudhary, Ms. Sunita Godara, and Mr. Devesh Gupta will deliver inspiring speeches, sharing their valuable insights and experiences. Ms. Harkiran will conduct warm-up exercises before the run. The marathon will be flagged off by Mr. Siddharth Chaudhary and Prof. Eric, as well as Ms. Sunita Godara and Mr. Devesh Gupta, symbolizing unity and collaboration.
Post-marathon, certificates will be distributed to students by Ms. Sunita Godara on a class-wise basis. Additionally, the distribution of e-certificates to the Alumni will be announced, recognizing their continued association with Ramjas International School and their remarkable achievements. Principal Ms. Richa Sharma will deliver a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, guests, sponsors, and committee members for their invaluable contributions to the success of the event.
