Here’s why CBSE postponed board exams in northeast Delhi
The CBSE board exams were postponed from February 26 to February 29, 2020, due to the violence in northeast Delhi. The clashes over the CAA began over fears that in combination with the proposed National Register of Citizens (NRC), it would target Muslim citizens who would be asked to prove their citizenship by providing documents that most of the poor or illiterate people living in India do not possess.
