‘There is no such thing as being ‘away.’ ‘Everything we throw away has to go somewhere.’
Plastic is a more destructive weapon than a nuclear or atom bomb, and its effects will be felt for centuries by future generations.
Little Flowers Group of Schools, in support of CEE, held a thoughtful webinar on TIDE TURNERS PLASTIC CHALLENGES 2022, highlighting the enormous impact of plastic on the world around us with a simple message: If it can’t be reduced, reused, repaired, rebuilt, refurbished, resold, recycled, or composted, it should be limited, redesigned, or removed from production. In accordance with the SDG goals, The Little Florians showed their support to get rid of plastic by preparing edible bowls and eco-bricks. The panelists Mr. Utsav Modi, Project Officer, CEE, and Ms. Khushbu Shah, YRE Co-ordinator shared their valuable information on how plastic is proving to be disastrous and the ways it can be checked with the help of plastic leaders! The overall program was fruitful. The enthusiasm of the teachers and the students towards the campaign made it more educative. The school authorities observed a paradigm shift amongst students and parents through the event. The eco ambassadors were seen glowing with the response they got from the LFPS family.
