On June 27, 2022, Ryan Public School hosted a workshop for school Teachers called “Classroom Management Techniques.”

“Good classroom management is the art of dealing with problems positively and looking for solutions together so that everyone is involved and willing to find a remedy.” “The Responsive Classroom approach creates an ideal environment for learning–every teacher should know about it.” The workshop started with an activity in which the teachers were guided to do some actions to feel their own strength in the soothing music. The resource person gave the introduction and definition of classroom management. The ultimate goal of classroom management should not be on simple obedience, but on having students behave appropriately because they know it’s the right thing to do and because they can understand how their actions affect other people. The teacher needs to focus on four components of classroom management including classroom design, rules, techniques, and organization of the lessons. The tips given for better classroom management seem to be useful and can be adapted which would surely help students to connect well with the teachers.
