Orators’ Feat at State Level TED-Titans Competition
A Triumph of Articulation
The grand stage was set at G.K. Gurukul, as young orators from schools across the state converged for the much-anticipated State-Level Interschool Competition TED Titans. The event, held on 15th August,2023, was a resounding success, showcasing the power of words and the finesse of effective communication.
The competition, organized by the collaborative efforts of various educational institutions, aimed to promote and cultivate the art of public speaking among students. This mega event held at three tiers witnessed a zealous participation of more than 1800 students from 65 schools from all over Maharashtra, the first round was the video round and the second round being the online bear the testimony of the conviction of the participants who opined their views on G-20 Theme- Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam
The stage was all set to warmly welcome the finalists of TED Titans-2023. The Finale was flagged off with a welcome note by the Principal Ms. Mayuri Mehta and witnessed thirty-six participants from twenty schools emphatically putting forth their views on- It’s great to be greater but it’s greater to be a human, Go Vocal for Local, Human-centric globalization, etc.
A renowned panel of judges comprising Ms. Lakshmi Gandhi, Ms. Sonika Singh and Dr. Kajal Chhatija adjudged the caliber of the participants. This pioneering initiative was the third edition of TED Titans by G.K. Gurukul, with the sole idea of creating a confluence of creativity, everlasting bonds and equipping the students’ horizons in the outer world.
As the results were announced, Mansukhbhai Kothari School emerged as the overall winner, with Ms. Niharika Waghade from Blue Ridge Public School winning the best teacher coordinator award. The victory was a testament to the dedication of the schools’ educators and mentors, who tirelessly guided and supported their students in honing their communication skills.
The State-Level Interschool Speaking Skills Competition underlined the significance of effective communication in today’s world. In an era where articulation and expression hold immense value, this competition provided a platform for young minds to refine their speaking abilities.
The invigorating musical-yoga performance by the Junior KG students and the Rhythmic Yoga garnered the attention of the audience. The event culminated with the inspiring words from the spearhead of the institution Ms. Jyoti Jeswani.
As these young orators continue their educational journey, their ability to communicate effectively will undoubtedly set them on a path towards success and influence.
