The Sanskrit Day started with the singing and performance of ‘सरस्वती वंदना’ by the students of class VII, VIII & X, followed by singing of ‘मम माता देवता’ by the students of Class V. This was then followed by a conversation in Sanskrit or ‘संवाद वाचन’ by the students of Class X and singing of ‘मृदपि च चन्दनं अस्मिन् देशे’ by the students of Class VI and VII. In the end, a short play or ‘लघु नाटिका – प्लास्टिकस्य प्रयोगं मा कुरु’ was performed by the students of Class IX discussing the disadvantages of using plastic.
