Bihar Board Class X, XII Result Update: BSEB Introduces 3 Level Answer Sheet Checking System

New Delhi: In a bid to ensure a transparent evaluation process, Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) has decided to bring the three-level answer sheet checking system. The process will be applicable to each answer sheet of the student. But an acute shortage of teachers has made it difficult to complete the process.

The three-level answer sheet process includes-
(a) Examination of copies by the examiner
(b) Other teachers will be asked to place the marks on OMR
(c) The entry of digits on the computer by others.
The Patna District Education Office has said that 1200 teachers were expected to participate in the assessment but only 766 teachers came for the process.
If reports are to be believed, the board has commenced internal assessment on February 26, 2020. The copies will be checked from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm every day. CCTV cameras have also been installed at every examination centre. Also, teachers will have to mark their attendance via biometric.
Authorities had also taken strict anti-cheating measures this year. All the exam centres were put under CCTV surveillance and there was a videographer for 500 students each. There were also two separate layers of screening at the exam centre.
