CBSE Exam 2020: CBSE is considering removing failed words from marksheet

CBSE is considering removing the word failed from the mark sheet in order to ensure that the students do not get negative feelings about the exam result. The board is exploring an alternative to the term. For this, suggestions have been sought by writing letters to many schools.

Examination Controller of CBSE, Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj said that usually if the student fails, there is a lot of mental pressure and negative emotion on him. Fail or compartment is written on his mark sheet. But the board has asked schools to suggest what word to use instead. This proposal is still at an early stage.
