Delhi Lieutenant Governor Inaugurates 41 Science Labs At 21 Schools Renovated By NDMC
NEW DELHI: According to a formal release, Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena inaugurated on Saturday 41 scientific laboratories at 21 schools that had been rebuilt by the NDMC and were outfitted with cutting-edge equipment and infrastructure. Atal Adarsh Bengali Balika Vidyalaya, a school sponsored by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) in this area’s Gole Market, hosted the ceremony. Upon opening the scientific labs, Saxena gave his congratulations to the 6,700 pupils enrolled in the 21 NDMC schools.
“This is a scientific period. No stride forward for socioeconomic and human growth could be imagined without research and a scientific mindset, “added he. According to the NDMC statement, the LG hoped that these labs would develop into “crucibles of experimentation and invention” and become landmarks in the field of education throughout Delhi, not just in the NDMC area. The LG reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s priority on educating girls, saying that educating girls educates the entire family, which in turn educates society as a whole.
Mr. Saxena also emphasised the significance of extracurricular activities for each student’s overall growth. At the event, prominent executives including the Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar, NDMC Chairman Bhupinder Singh Bhalla, Vice Chairman Satish Upadhyay, Member of Council Kuljeet Singh Chahal, and others were present. Chief Secretary Kumar made recommendations for ways to further raise the standard of instruction in NDMC schools at the time. To give every student access to the internet, he demanded that tablets be given to them.
