Delhi schools recorded 16% increase in pass percentage in CBSE Class 10 compartment exam: Govt

NEW DELHI: According to a notification released on Sunday, the pass rate for the CBSE Class 10 compartment exam increased by 16% in Delhi government institutions. According to a statement released by the government, the pass rate for Class 10 increased from 81.27 percent to 97.29 percent, while the pass rate for Class 12 increased from 96.29 percent to 98.21 percent.

Manish Sisodia, deputy chief minister, claimed that despite the Covid pandemic’s effects on education over the previous two years, the students performed “exceptionally.”

“The last two years’ COVID-19 had a negative impact on kids’ academic performance as well as their mental and emotional health. Nevertheless, despite all of this, students have excelled in the compartment exams “added he.

According to Sisodia, COVID-19 disrupted the academic year 2021–2022 and reduced learning possibilities for children by a “substantial amount.”

“While all of our students did quite well on the exam this year, a few were unable to pass in one or two topics and had to retake the test. This outcome will undoubtedly increase their confidence and motivate them to perform better in their coursework, “added he.
