The day was celebrated at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Loni Road, Shahdara, to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity. Students were participated in various activities to promote the preservation and protection of their mother tongue – Punjabi. Mother tongue day celebrated by conducting special assembly, calligraphy competition, essay writing competition.
