CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme For Single Girl Child Application Begins; Last Date, Renewal Details, Key Points

NEW DELHI: The Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child registration period has begun, according to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Apply online at cbse.gov.in for scholarships if you are a single girl child who graduated from Class 10 in 2022 from a CBSE school and is now enrolled in Class 11 at a CBSE-affiliated school. For pupils who received the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship in 2021, the school board has now released the renewal portal. The deadline for registering for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship is November 14.

According to a formal statement, the goal of the CBSE merit scholarship programme is to award scholarships to deserving single girls who are the only child of their parents, completed the CBSE Class 10 exams with at least 60%, and are continuing their education in Classes 11 and 12. The programme aims to promote deserving students and reward parents for their efforts in encouraging girls to pursue an education.

2. Click on ‘Single girl child scholarship X-2022 REG’
3. Click on the designated application link
4. On the new tab, select the type of application — fresh or renewal
5. Now click on SGC-X fresh application or renewal
6. Filll the application form, upload documents and submit
7. Take a printout of the application form for future reference
