Digital Museum At Rajasthan Assembly To Be Open For School Children On November 14
JAIPUR: Beginning on November 14, schoolchildren will be given free access for a month to the new digital museum on the grounds of the Rajasthan Assembly. The museum was opened by the former Chief Justice of India, N.V. Ramana, in July of this year. It will subsequently be accessible to the general public for a small cost.
At a news conference, Assembly Speaker C P Joshi informed the media that on Children’s Day, the museum would be open to schoolchildren so they could learn more about the nation’s democratic system.
The museum’s goal, according to him, is to educate the public about political processes and arrangements while also showcasing Rajasthan’s illustrious political past.
The museum, which was constructed on a 21,000 square foot site for Rs 17 crore, will take tourists on a tour of democracy and assembly procedures using cutting-edge technology.
Along with the procedure for how legislation are enacted and become laws, a comprehensive description of the powers and responsibilities of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Leader of the House, and the Leader of the Opposition is also on display in this museum. In addition to providing a taste of Rajasthani culture and heritage, the museum also houses wax figures of chief ministers and assembly speakers.
