First List Of Admissions To Private Delhi Schools To Be Released Friday
NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Education (DoE) of the Delhi government said that the first list of pupils who have been shortlisted for admission to beginning classes in more than 1,800 private schools in Delhi will be published on Friday.
The names and a waiting list will be posted on the school’s notice board and on their official website, the DoE announced on Thursday.
On February 6, the second list of finalists for students will be released.
To fill out the application for admission to the nursery, a kid must be at least four years old. As of March 31, 2023, the age requirement is five years old for kindergarten entrance and at least six years old for Class 1.
For the academic year 2023–24, registration for entry-level classes at more than 1,800 private schools in Delhi opened on December 1 and closed on December 23.
“There may be no variation from the aforementioned schedule. The aforementioned admission schedule must be posted on each school’s notice board and website. Additionally, each institution must make sure that all candidates have access to admission application forms up until the deadline for submission “According to the DoE circular.
Only a non-refundable price of 25 can be charged as the admittance registration fee, according to the statement. It stated that parents’ purchasing of a school prospectus would be optional.
The circular mandates that 25% of seats be set aside in all private schools for pupils from economically disadvantaged groups (DG), economically weaker sections (EWS), and children with special needs.
