1st July 2022, Friday- Train your mind, strengthen your willpower, and say YES to a drug-free life!’
The 26th of June is commemorated globally as International Day Against Drug Addiction to raise awareness among people, particularly adolescents, about the dangers of drug addiction and how it affects one’s life. It covers not just drug addiction to stimulants and cannabis, but also prescription/medication drug addiction to painkillers, sleeping medications, and tranquilizers, as well as their abuse. Little Flowers Public Sr Sec School students launched a campaign to educate and raise awareness about drug addiction, which included a poster-making activity and a webinar. Srishti Sharma, Anushka Bhardwaj, Aryan Choudhary, Shubham Jindal, Mansi Bansal, and Aryan Pathak presented how drug addiction affects people and how they can overcome it.
This webinar provided students and viewers with vital information and resources to help avoid youth addiction. Their efforts were recognised by the administration, teachers, and students.
