“Montfort School Delhi Celebrates Mahatma Gandhi’s Birthday with Joyful Tribute by Class II-B”

Delhi: Montfort School Delhi celebrated The birth anniversary of the great soul Mahatma Gandhi was celebrated with utmost zest and fervor by the tiny tots of Class II-B on October 4, 2023, in the primary wing. The assembly commenced with a dance performance dedicated to Gandhiji and proceeded to show glimpses of his glorious journey. Gandhiji’s famous bhajan Raghupati Raghav Raj Ram was sung by the students with great zest.

Important incidents from his life and his active involvement in the freedom struggle were depicted in the form of a dance drama. Bapu’s principles of satyagraha, non-violence, and love for the downtrodden were also highlighted through quotes and poems. Students showed their moves enthusiastically as they performed on patriotic numbers bringing out the feeling of secularism and unity.

Rev. Br. Joy Thomas appreciated the presentation by the students and encouraged the students to tread the path of honesty.
