Technology Education Should Be Imparted In Hindi; Other Languages: Kalraj Mishra

Jaipur: In order to make technology education accessible to everyone, Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra said on Saturday that it should be offered in Hindi and other languages. He asked specialists to work together and coordinate their efforts to accomplish this. On Saturday, Governor Mishra spoke at the “Utsav 175” event hosted by the Jaipur Chapter of the IIT Roorkee Alumni Association.

He advised taking the lead in the establishment of a carbon-free manufacturing sector through startups. When developing the curriculum, he advised technical educators to consider the demands placed on local businesses, the construction industry, and the public sector, and to make every effort to make the best use of available resources.

The Governor claimed that these courses were not created in Indian languages since it is customary to deliver scientific, technical, and medical education in English. He stated that as a result of the Indian Institute of Translation and Interpretation’s (IITI) effort, these courses will now now be offered in Indian languages in addition to English.

He urged members of the IIT Roorkee Alumni Association to work together to establish skill development centres so that it would be possible to strengthen the capacity of young people in Rajasthan who are pursuing technical education.
