Youth Ambassadors from Little Flowers Sr Secondary School represented India in the Freedom to Breathe Campaign (Delhi)

Life takes on a whole new meaning when you breathe fresh air. Life is not possible without fresh air. Fresh air is a gift that is well worth jogging for.
Little Floridians never stop looking for a remedy to air pollution.
On the 7th of May, student ambassadors from Little Flowers Sr Secondary School from India (Protistha and Navya), Cameroon (Godwin and Arshly), and the United Kingdom (Farron) discussed the issue of air pollution and the urgent need for the UNCRC to recognise the right to clean air. Following Hannah Battram (Global Action Plan UK) and Sara Alsen (Blue Air, Canada) welcoming the participants, several environmental activists and speakers from around the world underlined the importance of clean air for children and the environment.

Prof. Ann Skelton (South Africa), Noé Gauchard (France), Frederique Seidel (Switzerland), World Council of Churches (WCC), Prof. Elisa Morgera (United Kingdom), Mikiko Otani (Japan), Chair of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child, and many more dignitaries were among the speakers. Prof. Philip D. Jaffé (Switzerland), UN Committee on the Rights of the Child & University of Geneva, gave the closing remarks to the programme. The organisers congratulated the young ambassadors and encouraged them to continue fighting for everyone’s right to clean air.
