Brilliants Convent Sr. Sec. School Spreads Love and Values Through Rakhi Festival with the toddlers of Preschool and Pre Primary”

New Delhi: Under the umbrella of Quality Education in Sustainable Development Goal 2030 , Brilliants’ Convent celebrated Rakhi Festival with the toddlers of Preschool and Pre Primary on 29 August 2023 with an objective to protect and care for one another.
This aligns with the promotion of peaceful societies and strong institutions that SDG-16 Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
aims to achieve in collaboration with G-20 by sharing values among nations for global prosperity. The vibrant classrooms were filled with joy and laughter as we celebrated the spirit of love and sibling bond through a special Rakhi celebration activity for our adorable toddlers.
Our little creative minds were provided with colorful threads, beads, and decorative elements. Guided by our caring teachers, the toddlers enthusiastically crafted their own personalized rakhis, brimming with creativity.
Our enthusiastic teachers engaged the toddlers in a captivating story behind this celebration.
The stories revolved around the essence of Raksha Bandhan, emphasizing the bond between siblings and the importance of love and care. The most heartwarming moment of the event arrived when the toddlers, beaming with excitement, tied the handmade rakhis they had made onto the wrists of Our Respected Principal Ma’am, Dr. Reeta Hashia and Venerated Jatin Sir. This sweet gesture symbolized the promise of protection and affection, even at their tender age.The Rakhi celebration activity not only brought smiles to the faces of our little ones but also imparted them with values of love, sharing, and the significance of relationships.
Such celebrations play a crucial role in fostering a sense of community and cultural understanding among our toddlers.
