Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia Visits Delhi Government's School Of Specialized Excellence

NEW DELHI: According to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, the Delhi government’s School of Specialized Excellence for Humanities trains students to become the “finest” IAS-IPS officers, journalists, historians, attorneys, and judges. The Deputy Chief Minister thanked the government schools for providing several opportunities for studying the performing and visual arts when he met the first group of students in these fields.

“Up until now, the system included schools that prepared students for careers as doctors and engineers. People had no idea that there would be government schools dedicated to nurturing children’s artistic abilities and developing their capabilities “Sisodia stated. In order to comprehend the SoSE students’ assessment patterns, he also interacted with teachers.

The B. R. Ambedkar School of Specialized Excellence, Performing and Visual Arts in Sector-19 and the School of Specialized Excellence and Humanities at Sector-22 were the two Dwarka schools that the Deputy Chief Minister visited. According to the Department of Education, performing and visual arts schools of specialised excellence offer pupils a “new-age” education that combines academics with “advanced training” in visual art genres.
