“Heavy Rainfall Causes School Collapse in Delhi on Sunday”
A wall of a Delhi government school in Srinivaspuri recently collapsed due to heavy rainfall. The most surprising thing is that the school was rebuilt only four months ago. Delhi is experiencing continuous and heavy rainfall; a section of the school’s border wall failed to withstand the intense rainfall, resulting in its collapse.
Aparajitha Gautam from the Delhi Parent Association said that the Delhi government should prioritize both education and infrastructure quality. She urged the AAP government to focus on improving infrastructure while ensuring quality education for students. We also want the children to be relocated before the midterm examination so that their studies are not hampered during the midterm examination, she added.
